How can you beat the fun of an ordinary open mic?  

At First Friday Open Mic at Jefferson Unitarian church, we offer not only generous three-song performer slots, but also a new showcase format.  A top regional act performs a special 45-minute showcase set during JUC’s popular First Friday Open Mic. 

To accommodate the showcase, we limit our evening to 8 open mic performance slots -- so to ensure your chance to perform, be on time for the lottery sign-up at 6:50 sharp! 

For audiences, this is a unique opportunity for a free, intimate concert experience for the entire family.  Child care is provided (we ask everyone to throw a buck or two in the basket to pay the sitters), and there's always chocolate!
